Special Needs Music

Stephen is a that priceless combination of love for special kids love of his work with them and excellence in everything he does. He works weekly with my son on the autism spectrum - who has always shown a natural brilliance at the keyboard. In the few months Stephen has been working with Benjamin on drum and piano Ben has not only in the music room at home but in school and in speech therapy I very highly recommend Stephen to anyone with a special needs child who has an interest in music

Stephen is absolutely amazing. He has done a wonderful job introducing my daughter to piano. I am in awe of how well she is doing and how quickly she has learned with Stephen. Her self esteem has gone through the ceiling. Stephen is patient and is so skilled at instructing that my daughter actually looks forward to her lesson. Thank you Stephen for making a dream a reality for my daughter.

Stephen has done an OUTSTANDING job of providing Music Therapy to my son. The techniques are so valuable and my son has improved verbally and become confident and enthusiastic about his sessions with Stephen. We would highly recommend Stephen to anyone who has a special needs kiddo interested music and growth.

We Love our Drum lessons with Stephen. Our Son who is very sound sensitive loves to get loud and soft with Stephen. Not to mention the progress he has made on the drums. I am amazed. we can now listen to music with loud drums in it while my son tries to pick out the beat and pattern they are playing. Its also been nice to have music during COVID. Using Skype has been really fun

Through my employer I work with Stephen to conduct a class with approximately 12 individuals every week. Stephen is one of a kind with knowing how to work with the individuals uniquely and how he can set them up for success during the class and beyond. Its a pleasure to work with Stephen and I would highly recommend him to anyone that is considering hiring him.

My kiddo takes drumming lessons with Steven. Ed who is slightly sensitive to sound has no problem getting loud with Steven He gets better with every lesson. Drums with Steven is the only thing that Ed likes to do thats extra-curricular. He loves going Stevens a fun. patient teacher. Im even coming away as a better drummer just for hanging out

Ive been taking my brother Joshua who has autism for the past 6 months and I have seen my brother improve a great deal. We love the way Stephan teaches as well as how patient he is with all of the students he works with. My son is 7 years old and has Autism ADHD and ODD. He has been taking lessons from Stephen for four months and we are so impressed with the whole experience. Stephen connects with Noah and is able to get him to participate better than any teacher we have seen. Noah looks forward to his lessons every week. Stephen Flinn is an amazing drum instructor. His years of experience with kids with special needs was evident from our first lesson. He really focuses on his student and pays close attention to their comments and actions. He is patient. He knows how to work with kids with challenging behaviors he sees the value in individuals and he is willing to help challenging students succeed. Oh and hes also an international-level drummer. Im grateful hes in our community.

Stephen Flinn is absolutely wonderful. My son has made so much progress and his attention span has grown. His tutoring with Mr. Flinn has greatly improved his fine motor skills and this past week my son completed his first full page of music with little assistance. I recommend Mr. Flinn for all children as talent his patience and knowledge of little people make is a recipe for success.
