If your Happy and You Know It ... turn it off...clap clap The commercials are excruciatingly horrible and really exploit the children. Fire your PR Reps I hate the commercials and would never send money to Shriners based on their poorly tasted ads Get rid of them PLEASE I dont even want to give it a 1 star But I have to

My family and I had and are having a wonderful experience with Shriners Hospital in Boston. They have put my son on the path to recovery from severe burns in areas that could have really debilitated him. A scary incident for us but up on our arrival we were taken cared of and calmed. Everyone from every department we interacted with wasare more than accommodating making sure our son was comfortable in every aspect even well fed. He loves blueberries so he even got a full pint of them. The staff also made sure my wife and I were comfortable and well fed too. Not enough good things can be said about the staff of this hospital. You can see that everyone from every department caredcares about the well being of our son. Thank you so very much from the bottom of our hearts. Bless you all.

No words can express the gratitude Ihave for the staff that works here. My daughter was 3 when she was admitted to Shriners hospital and this is the only hospital she gets excited about coming to for her appointments. My family and I are grateful to have come across such caring and wonderful people. Its the staff for me

Nothing but good experiences here despite the unfortunate ones that bring you in. Its like Christmas day for the kids. They shower the children with gifts of all kinds. Its amazing and I hear that youll never pay a cent for your childs treatment. If youre able to please donate to this hospital.

I worked for Shriners Hospitals for Children Boston for many years. Unlike others I did not build my career there. That was not my first job in life so when I was hired I came with ample experience of many years which is why I was hired to begin with. The interview and hiring process was really quick and not that challenging. The staff and management I met in the beginning process were absolutely amazing. Very kind and understanding. The HR and Senior managers I never had a problem with. It was more the department manager and supervisor. There are constant internal wars with employees and sometimes even patients. Poor and disturbing behaviors I do not understand how the Boston location is even under operation still. Quite frankly HQ Tampa need to seriously consider conducting investigation because the Boston location has so much going on that makes no sense I also do not like that for many years patients were made a promise. A promise that was kept until last year which was they will treat regardless of the ability to pay. Patients that have been treated since they were born were sent off to their countries with no more hopes with no other resources or assistance just because they do not have insurance and are international. I understand the importance of revenue but what happened to the core values of the hospital The main mission and vision of why the hospital was implanted to begin with You cant accept everyone and then send them off because majority of the families coming to the facility were international. There is so much going on in that facility that is very disturbing Micromanagement in most if not all departments Supervisors barely present during tough situations. Employees having to step up and act as the supervisor on duty and handle matters on their own. The only way that some departments are even successful is because some of the employees work and remain together cover assist and back one another when needed. There are tons of department wars Which manager and supervisor takes care of what whos in charge I was hired because I know what Im doing I know this person and that person if it wasnt because of me the same way you got hired is the same way you can get fired youre at will. I mean its completely obnoxious A lot of things are stated verbally so they are not recorded and or saved for evidence. Which is why there is one supervisor that has gotten away with a lot of murder. There is a lot of stereotyping racism prejudice bullying disrespect. I have never worked in such stressful environment. All my career experience has been developed in the health field and I never came across such hostile environment. When you enter you would think its so peaceful and amazing but its not I wouldnt recommend as employment to anyone. Patient care is different however the same nurses and staff that take care of the patients with a wonderful smile and care are the same ones mistreating each other behind closed doors. Its a mad man place and it needs to be investigated ASAP The laws have been broken for many years when it comes to operations. That is why I say its necessary HQ checks that place out immediately And if not the news and media need to take over because I really feel for the employees that remain and have been there for many years. That are silently taking the beating because its all they have.

Caring and compassionate treatment at the worst time of my life. Staff and facility were excellent. They answered questions before I thought to ask provided me and my husband with an apartment and assured me that the stay would be paid for. Even the surgeon took time to answer questions or comment on a procedure.
