R.I.S.E. Physical Therapy - La Mesa

I have been to several physical therapists in the past. Tamara from Rise Physical Therapy is by far the best.The one on one care is extremely important. Tamara is caring patient smart and kind. She always checks in to make sure I do not have pain during the sessions.In my health journey I was mis diagnosed several times. We started out working on a pinched nerve problem until Tamara discovered that my hip was the real problem. I met with my doctors and they agreed that I need a hip replacement. I will be forever grateful for her insight .

At 85 years old I have had many knee and back surgeries and many years of physical therapy. My last severe knee trauma a year and half ago required more therapy. I was referred to RISE. I went to the Imperial Beach office where I met Tamara. She was the most skilled and effective therapist I have ever had in the last 40 years. Tamara as well as all the therapists at RISE worked with me the entire hour ensuring the correct form of exercise. Tamara is very professional intelligent and caring. Tamara moved to La Mesa where I am currently seeing her. The La Mesa center is a new venue for RISE and is an excellent organization. As I said earlier the best therapy I have ever had.

I have been utilizing Rise for the past 6 months and Im extremely pleased with the staff. Their attention to detail and their genuine concern for your health and well being is un paramount. I would recommend this facility to anyone. By the way my physical therapist is Tamara and she is wonderful. Again High kudos to everyone here.

I went for my bicep tear and Tamara was awesome She was very friendly and knowledgeable. She was aware of my pain and made sure the stretching and exercises were not hurting more than helping. I am very happy with my sessions and am back to normal thanks for Tamaras help. I would trust her again if I need physical therapy in the future..Thanks Tamara

I have had the opportunity this month to work with Kevin. It has been a relief to work with someone who understands me and is helping me to better my situation. I feel safe understood and in good hands. He listens to me and explains things as we go. I also have been in position to see him train another which only deepens my trust in his abilities. All the people Ive interacted with here have been kind and friendly and helpful..Amiee is wonderful in the office as well.

I went in to see AJ with a 3 year old injury to my hand. I went in with very little hope as I had been to other therapists and the pain and swelling had not resolved. My doctor recommended this place as one last try before considering surgery. I can say that I am so glad I gave it a try because my hand is pain free after so many years. AJ is a very dedicated therapist who truly wants to get you better. He takes the time to figure out what the cause of your pain is and treat you accordingly. I never felt rushed. The rest of the staff are also very friendly and helpful.

I suffered a broken pinky and was told by many that I wouldnt regain my normal function following my injury. Tiffany was amazing and spent many days helping me get my strength and mobility back. From previous injury experience most therapists just give you a list of things to do but Tiffany is hands on giving you best chance at healing properly. Highly recommend seeing Tiffany if you have a hand injury of any sort

It has been a great experience Tiffany has been amazing she is knowledgeable kind and has made my experience at Rise very positive. My appointments have always been on time and the entire staff has always been friendly I would highly recommend Rise and Tiffany for Hand Therapy.

First time patient at RISE office and the staff was great. I saw Brandon as my physical therapist and he took the time to listen to me and my concerns. Very patient and empathetic to my story. Over all a great experience here today. Thank you all. I will definitely be back and recommend this office to others.

I just finished a two month knee rehab at Rise Therapy in La Mesa and the experience was perfect. The entire team there are upbeat and positive and genuinely care for their patients. I always looked forward to my visits. My therapist was Brandon Funk and he is excellent. He was highly engaged and remained focused on my recovery from a torn meniscus. He kept me moving forward always on to the next challenging activity... Highly recommend this spot. You wont regret it.
