About Rides and Reins Therapeutic Riding Center

In 1998, Don Elias leased his arena and horses to a group of therapists to work with special needs children and adults. He saw how helpful his horses could be. Don & his wife Renee were dedicated to helping the special needs individuals with the program. When Don passed in May 2017, Renee together with her family, continued the tradition that he had started!

We had a great time at the Rides Reins annual Open House. Lots of family-friendly fun with pony horse rides face painting and a huge selection of raffles that support the cause. Save the date for the 3rd weekend in October every year And be sure to check out the many ways you can volunteer year round too.
