The customer service is really bad. I called at 1156am and want to schedule an appointment for my 2 years old. When I say my son is a new patient. The lady said there is cut off and then hang my phone. But I have full signal bar of my phone. I called several times after that. No one pick up the phone. I think she just went to lunch.

Dr. Preston is AMAZING She was so patient and kind with my 14 year old autistic non-verbal social anxiety special needs son. She did her best to make him feel comfortable and not overwhelmed dimming the lights speaking so softly with a quiet calm soothing voice. Then when we were done she cleaned the waiting room and had the next family to stand in the hall way around the corner so he could walk through their very small waiting room without the added anxiety of a bunch of people to walk by. Well worth the 1 12 hour drive to find an optometrist that would do a non-verbal eye exam and adapt to his needs.

Dr.Preston has been nothing short of wonderful We had to wait 4 months to get our first appointment but we have been able to get in pretty easily after that. She is kind caring and very knowledgeable My daughters eye issues have been addressed and we have been equipoise with the tools to improve them and we appreciate all the extra care Totally worth the wait

The doctor here is extremely caring and very knowledgeable. She has dedicated her whole life to helping not only kids but challenged adults. She has been know on numerous accounts to see patients without charging due to insurance issues and a childs need for care.Waiting for a appointment with her is out a few month usually but it is well worth the wait. Due to COVID Dr Preston had to downsize her facilityschedule and staff which leads to longer wait times to get certain types of appts. NO more long waits in waiting room. I dont believe there is a pediatric eye specialist around that gets you in right away unless it is emergency. There are some that do not come close to setting standards that Dr Preston does. BEWAREShe is WONDERFUL

UPDATE Im sad to say they stopped seeing clients on Saturdays a few years ago which was helpful for us living so far away and then they stopped taking our insurance altogether. Thanks for the years of great careMy daughter has been a patient here for several years. The staff is wonderful. They work well with children theyre patient and knowledgeable. The office is always clean toys for the wait good magazines for parents. We come from out of town for every appointment so I really appreciate that theyre open on Saturdays. Theyre also understanding of being a few minutes late. I block out at least two hours for a full eye exam. I dont mind the wait for the level of care.

We have been going here for years and weve finally had enough. The actual doctor is very kind and patient. We love her but the receptionist Andrea is a nightmare and will make sure your experience there is too. I would tell you all the stories but to be honest it would cause for some extensive reading so Ill spare you. All I will say is that if youre thinking about it just dont...unless of course you like being lied to hate on time appointments have no desire to have a life outside of waiting roomscars or enjoy dealing with next level incompetence. If so this is the place for you

The doctor here is amazing Yes the time here is horrible especially waiting in the room for her to come and see you. Usually takes a maximum hour which can be quite frustrating if you have kids. I suggest you come early in the mornings instead. Aside from that she truly is a genuine and smart person. Which is why I dont mind waiting for her. Extremely recommended her and staff very much

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I really dont like this clinic. If you plan on making an appointment prepare yourself for very long wait times. I had an appointment for my daughter at 5pm it was almost 530 by the time we were seen.Mind you there was only one other family waiting. They had the general nurse or receptionist work with us for about ten minutes then we had to wait for the main doctor for another 15 minutes. At this point it was almost a 40 minute wait time to see their only doctor. She came in with no greeting and that was it. It is very hard to keep a child with hyperactivity and ADHD settled for a over an hr. I will be changing doctors and never coming back. It has been the same thing every year. Very disappointing

Dr Preston is a unique doctor. She follows a very different style of her kind and one of the best doctors I have ever seen. My kids are so lucky to have her. Well I have to say that customer service may not be best when it comes to wait times which is clear from the other reviews. But if you are choosing Dr Preston you are doing that for a reason and you should not mind the long wait times. Be ready for a one hour visit at best and two hours in the worst case. But you must do that for the care you are getting for your kid. Yes if the visit was an hour shorter you could do something else. You have to sacrifice that extra hour every six months or a year whatever your visit frequency is. In return you are getting something much more precious. If your kid needs some therapy that you cannot get from a typical clinic please stop talking about wait times or how rude the receptionist was. Dr Preston has a PhD on the psychology of vision and she will have the best techniques if your kid suffers from lazy eye or inability to focus well. It is worth every extra minute you have to wait there just be patient.

We used to take our daughter to this clinic. It started out great with a previous Doctor who moved away. After that the wait times were horrific. You cant expect a 2.5 year old to wait an hour and 15 minutes. It happened 3 times in a row2 Stars because the staff is very good with kids and knowledgeable. However we also changed clinics to the Kirkland Pediatrics due to the distance and waits. Also I felt Dr. Preston was a little extreme with dolling out diagnosis without much time spent really looking at my daughter.
