They screwed up billing lied about it to me and refused to see my daughter or refill her prescriptions because of it. Thank God for her pediatrician for taking over meds while we found a better place. Pretty sure they owe me money after they eventually correctly billed the insurance. My daughter hated it here. This place only wants your money. Zero help. Dont bring anyone you love here.

Having to take my daughter the ladies have made it the best experience that Ive had in a long time other than my own therapist so I appreciate the ladies that are trying to make a smooth transition for my daughter and thank you Phyllis as she is my daughters therapist and we are really starting to make progress even within the first couple of weeks

Get a better receptionist. As I called this location on accident rather than the location my daughter goes to. I asked to cancel her apt and she told me Im not calling the right location. When I told her to give me a second so I can look to see if I had the right location she hung up on me. When people are seeking therapy the last thing you should ever do is have an unfriendly and unwelcoming receptionist

If I could give this place a zero I would. Started with high hopes in their PHP program opened up about some really deep trauma only to be told a day later that they had fired their ONLY therapist on staff the Friday prior so they had been aware for 6 days and told no one and did not have a replacement and did not know when they were getting one. Needless to say I wasted time and money and was traumatized all over again for nothing. Came out feeling worse and am now trying to find another program. So unprofessional and was very discouraged. Hope they can get it together for the other patients there.

Had one appointment with a therapist in 8 in months two with the doctor who refused to give me the medication I KNOW works for me. Instead got stuck with a combo that left me depressed for weeks and unable to get out of bed. Then they cut me off because everytime I scheduled an appointment with the therapist she never answered her phone or called me back. And the one time I did speak with her all she could talk about were her grandkids.

Referred by my doctor for my child. Tried to push us into the partial hospitalization program. which we didnt need. The counselor didnt seem to...

I have 3 teenagers in my home. Last night 2 of them woke me up sick flu like sickness my daughter had an appointment with Teri first thing this morning. I called to cancelreschedule her appointment at 730am. Teri called to inform me that I will be charged a 50 fee for not giving a 24 hour notice. I guess I should of took her and risk spreading this sickness. Unacceptable needless to say my daughter will no longer be a patient there..

Ive been attempting to go to New Oakland for a few years now. I scheduled my first intake appointment in 2015 and were now in 2019 Ive been there five times now repeating the intake appointment over and over... each experience being worse than the last.Lets talk about my most recent experience which has been my experience every other time as well...I schedule with them only cause my insurance company refers me to New Oakland and only New Oakland. I schedule my intake appointment again because if you go a certain amount of time wo seeing a counselor then they have to start you over as a new patient doing intakes again. The intake appointment always works out great. The appointment goes as scheduled you are treated with respect they act like they care and theyre here to help. Then they schedule you with your counselor appointment and your psychiatrist appointment. Everything goes so smoothly and you ponder why the internet gave this place such bad reviews.Then comes your counselors appointment and they always have to cancel. Ive actually had previous appointments not even cancel until Im there for them to tell in person. And theyll actually put me down as no call no show so I had to start my intake over again because of that. But this time I wanted to give them one more chance. So they cancel the counselor appointment then we reschedule only to cancel again and reschedule. As for the psychiatrist it always takes a few months to schedule with himher and my counselors kept canceling and Id get rescheduled with someone completely different then that person would cancelquit and etc..my counselor appt kept canceling so much that my most recent rescheduled counselors appt is scheduled only 2 days before my psychiatrist appt.Two days ago I called New Oakland to confirm my appointments were still intact. I had a counselor appt on July 20 and the psychiatrist appt was on July 23 but when I called I was told my psychiatrist appt was on the 18th today and my counselor appt is on the 25th. That cant be accurate and I dont want to see the psychiatrist before the counselor I thought it was their policy against seeing the psychiatrist first. I cant keep waiting for them..So apparently someone changed my dates wo talking to me about it.Today Im scheduled for an appt with a psychiatrist at 2pm according to the receptionist I spoke with two days ago. I didnt receive a phone confirmation so I became cautious about potential problems and called them once again.Hi. Im calling to confirm my appointment today at 2pm.Apparently I dont have an appointment today OR on the 25th like I was told two days ago. I also dont have an appointment scheduled for the 20th or 23rd as I scheduled. I have nothing lined up at all and they just routed me over to Sarah to schedule an appointment with them AGAIN. And Sarah never answers her phone she calls back a minute before they close and if you miss her call but call back immediately theyre closed by this time so you get caught up with their after hours machine and cant talk to anyone.Anyway this happens every time there Scheduling your intake appt is always super easy though. After that good luck. This is all at the centerline location though. My husband has been going to the Warren location with no problems. The centerline location used to do the same to him but the Warren location is better. A lot cleaner too and I feel safer there. Ive tried going to Warren multiple times but I was told they would rather I go to centerline because its closer to my house and Id get in a lot quicker. If I try scheduling on the phone at the Warren location they always reroute me to Sarahs answering machine and she keeps scheduling me for centerline. My husband started going there a few months after I did hes been going for months now no problem. Seen counselor multiple times already and Im still trying to schedule my first appointment he goes to Warren location and had no problem transferring.

AVOID THIS PLACE If I could I would have given this place a no stars. The staff is extremely lazy and rude. It is clear that they do not want to do their job. You wait in the waiting room for at least 2 hours waiting to be called in just to find out that the Doctor is late which was every single time my son had an appointment You could call AND leave messages every single day for almost a week and will NEVER receive a phone call back especially from Tanya. Oh and it is best if you keep your appointment cards because they like to change the datetimes of your appointment without telling you. Ive also witnessed this from other clients as well who were complaining about this very same thing Dont walk way...RUN

I wish i could give a rating less then 1. This place doesnt even deserve that.First i was forgotten about after i signed in for 20 minutes. they for some reason thought i was with the people that had walked in like 3 minutes before me. Then they rushed my appointment due to their mistakes. They also initially said that my insurance was accepted until i got there and was already in my appointment. They had me fill out the paperwork like all new patients but that was it. that was all the appointment was and they had the nerve to charge me 100 for that.Then i called a few days later to cancel my next appointment and i was transferred to a line that didnt exist because the front desk people for some reason cant cancel an appointment. so i had to then call again and was told she would take care of it.if you have any needs that this facility offers please for your own sanity and your children. go elsewhere.
