Naval Hospital Jacksonville

Havent had any bad experiences with appointments parking or the actual providers themselves but the pharmacy is ATROCIOUS. I waited 3 hours for medication one day and decided Im better off paying the copay at a Walgreens to save some sanity. They really need to figure that out.

Told I had to call radiology to get an appointment. Have called three times and all three times say on hold for an hour to be told systems are down Ill take your number and call you back. I havent been called back and continue to call and cant get anyone to schedule me an MRI.

Dr. Smith with NAS OBGYN delivered my son via C-Section he was compassionate and kind. As well as commander Higgins. She was my midwife for my birth. However the labor and delivery nurses werent informative nor did they listen to my concerns. I had to ask 3 times for them to pls get commander Higgins because I could tell something was wrong. I was told Im not sure. Its normal to be in pain during labor. I had an epidural and wasnt in pains for a good 2 hours. I had to say go get my midwife directly for the labor and delivery nurse to take me seriously. I was alone for 3 hours during the laboring process a nurse only came in once to see if I was okay. I expected a bit more support from the hospital staff co soldering this was my first time in labor wasnt sure what to expect. I told my midwife there was dry blood in multiple places within the room I worked for a surgeon I am aware of what dry blood looks like I asked to be changed rooms. I was never changed rooms. Over all it wasnt a good experience during active labor. C-section went great. I never heard back from the hospital or staff on whether I had a placental abruption or not. Lactation consulting was a joke for a hospital that has so many lactation and breastfeeding awards. Little to no help. Didnt offer a breast pump. Had to ask for one that quite literally had no suction.

This hospital does not allow you to be discreet when telling them why you want to be seen. They even removed the pad where you could just right it down. After being seen by a doctor everyone around the desk knows why you were seen because everyone talks so loud and freely including the doctors and nurses about the diagnosis and tests that may be needed. They are even loud while in the room discussing your issue. Very unprofessional and I hate having to go here.

Shout out to the nurse hotline. Kim was able to help me out with my medical issue and she was able to get me an appointment with my primary care provider....

Quick check-in. Customer service is OK depending on time of arrival. Night time seems like no one wants to be there. Not a long wait to be seen by a doctor....

Went to the ER here a few months ago and wanted to leave a good review because most of the time people only think to leave a review when theyve had a negative experience. After arriving to the ER I was seen promptly within 15 minutes. Was not expecting to be seen so quickly which was great. The ER staff that took care of me Nurses Corpsmen and Doctor were all extremely caring and professional. They explained everything that was going on at all times and treated me with care and respect. Overall I was very impressed by this ER staff on the day that I was seen by them. Im very thankful for the care I received

The pharmacy is trash worst its a known quantity. Every time you have to go people sympathize with you saying Im sorry you have to deal with them. When doctors proscribe medication they ask if you want it sent to the pharmacy. When you say yes they looks back at you surprised and ask are you sure If you need or want to waste your time I would recommend going to the pharmacy in hospital. If you however value you time and sanity fight to have your medication sent somewhere els.

Went to the ER with our 11 month old and they were absolutely amazing They were very quick and helpful throughout the whole process. We were there less than 2 hours and that included waiting triage X-ray seeing the doctor and getting meds from pharmacy. We also came at 8pm and there were only a few others waiting. Everyone was so nice and patient with our little one.

Well I wanted to leave my evaluation with the comment card given to me by Family medicine but I chose a QR code which does not work I tried my husbands phone too so no it is NOT human error then I was told to fill out the card which I refused because I know that it will be thrown away ... Needles to say .. I had an appointment with family medicine. I was given the right building but wrong doctor information. I came across this VERY RUDE and dismissive corpsman named HN Norton... Then he sent me to a different location and I came across another rude secretary named Jessica... She needs to watch her facial expressions. I was happy with Sarah Cannon and Dr Roberts... They are the only reason I gave you guys a 4 out of 5 stars

i gave birth here as a first time mom i came in at 3cm dilated i progressed to 8cm pretty quickly and my labor was quick the staff team assigned to me were amazing epidural was fast and done correctly the staff helped me before during and after labor. the nurse helped me push the epidural button when needed and was so kind. great LD team when i went. the nurse helping me learn how to latch and breastfeed was great as well. everyone was so helpful and took care of me very well my post-birth bathroom had a broken toilet seat tho

The absolute most despicable Naval Hospital Ive had the displeasure of dealing with. My wife was given FALSE information on what she required to come overseas after we got married was instructed to go to her doctor who didnt take our insurance and now theyre telling her she needs to come in to their Dental Offices. Just getting a confirmation email on her paperwork took nearly 3 weeks and no answers to follow up emails or phone calls.You people are a disgrace to the Service and the family members who need the care you promise. Ill be making sure your command knows exactly what youve been doing and how terribly you treat your service members and their family.

Sorry anytime access to care is this poor its a no go for me If I cant be seen when Im sick you are useless to me. Waiting two hours to get a...
