I very infrequently write reviews. I dont do social media etcbut I feel so strongly about NMN Education Advocacy and Consulting and Nicki Nazarskis work that I wanted to put this in writing. My son and our family have been trying for months to attain an appropriate education for my 11 year old grandson with nothing to show for it. We feel we have been ignored or put off by some school district administration members. Responses we received were and are often delayed. We faced what we consider to be passive aggressive correspondence and behavior from a couple members of the administration as well. We repeatedly pleaded with some administration for guidance throughout our struggle. When guidance was provided to us it was vague at best. I would have to research terms and acronyms mentioned in a conversation in an attempt to understand what was being said. Every single inch forward was a struggle. The one environment that was recommended to be the best place for success for child only exacerbated my grandson anxiety as he was physically assaulted multiple times. One member or our district administration did not even seem to think it was a big deal. I even began to think that maybe I was crazy and expecting too much I quickly regrouped and realized how we view our child in need and how some administration members view our child in need are driven by two entirely different forces. We want a safe environment that will provide the greatest chance for lifelong success regardless of the cost. That is reasonable not crazy And we want this for EVERY child not just ours We could remain at the mercy of those in administration whose main goal was skewed or we could find someone who feels as we do and ask for help. We chose to seek guidance elsewhere. We began calling schools all over PA. We asked lots of questions and I believe it was The Hill School that provided us with information that eventually lead us to Nicki Nazarski. My first communication with Nicki was memorable. I felt supported I felt relief someone finally really gets it She knows what I am taking about she understands how we feel she knows exactly what is at stake and the urgency Nicki knows well that we are not the only ones struggling to get our children in need a solid education. What I admire about Nicki most is that she did not sit back and let those who are most vulnerable and in need continue to struggle and be bullied. She saw unjust administrative behavior and became a champion advocate for ALL children and families in need. Nicki has an impressive education and was an educator herself. Her work background and education has provided her with a wealth of knowledge as it pertains to the legal rites of our children education needs. She knows what they are entitled to and she knows what to do when they are not being met. I believe it is Nickis innate passion that drives her to succeed. You cant learn or be taught what she has this innate quality is what I think sets her apart from others. Her passion and determination is palpable. Nicki will not be intimidated The information that we pleaded for from the district for months was very quickly provided by Nicki. Our grandson was recently accepted into a school that will give him a real opportunity. Its not simply a holding facility until he is of a certain age. Nickis work and this recommendation has the potential to change the entire course of my grandsons life. He is being set up for success not for failure. I believe with all of my heart that he would not have been afforded this opportunity if it was not for her help. This is no exaggeration If you are in need as we were please stop searching Reach out to Nicki at NMN Education Advocacy Consulting. I will forever and ever recommend her services and I will never forget what she is doing.

Nicole Nazaraski Ms. Nicki has had a very powerful and positive impact on my 11-year old son and our whole family over the past few months. My son attended both PHP and IPO programs and Ms. Nicki was a critical person within his treatment programs and then provided unbelievable support for my son our family and the school during his transition back to school. In the beginning Ms. Nicki worked closely and effectively with my son during the educational component of his two programs. She was positive and supportive and still established clear expectations and goals for my son. The manner in which Ms. Nicki established and helped my son reach his goals encouraged him to persevere even during some particularly difficult times. When it came time to think about my sons return to school Ms. Nicki helped my husband and me think about various possibilities. She connected us to different schools encouraged us to think about all options and helped us ask the hard yet necessary questions needed to make a final determination. When we decided to try to have our son return to his previous school Ms. Nicki worked tirelessly to provide my son and school personnel with the supports and guidance needed to ensure a smooth transition. She successfully navigated the complicated dynamics involving the program the school and us. This included several conference calls many emails and a videoconference in which she provided the school with professional development they had requested. As my son began transitioning back to school Ms. Nicki communicated regularly with school personnel to revise the transition plan as needed. My sons journey is not over. He is still working on several aspects of managing his anxiety. However he now has the tools to cope and the vocabulary to explain his thoughts. None of this progress would have been possible without Ms. Nicki and her colleagues. In sum Ms. Nicki is a wonderful compassionate and thoughtful professional who is dedicated to helping young people learn to manage their anxiety so they are able to happy be with themselves and productive. My son was very clear when he stated When I grow up I want to work for Ms. Nicki and do for other kids what she did for me. I think there is no better tribute to Nickis impact on those with whom she works.
