Lifeworks NW - Tigard

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU CONSIDER THIS PLACE Everything was great. Until now.Little did I know how terrible and unforgivable staff were. And if I ever have a child they are NEVER stepping a foot on these grounds.LifeWorks NW - Tigard claims to be a safe environment for everybody put into this program. Lets refrain from lying LifeWorks I was removed from the program out of my control but honestly for the better.All the consYou cant have REAL friends. They encourage you to make friends in this program when you cannot even have their socials address or even phone number They state you cannot have outside contact at all or there will be consequences. And for what They say to prevent drama and illegal activity. WHAT LOL Cant get any worse right Wrong.The things you talk about are kept to a limit. Christ you cant even talk about a childrens horror game Five Nights are Freddys . This place is a whole joke. You cannot talk about anything marked as triggering when NOBODY is triggered by anything anyone says. And on top of this Staff talk about such topics to clients ALL the time. Ive only seen 3 staff members remind clients they cannot hold such conversations with the topics.And that leads to another con Staff are hypocrites. They tell you what you can and cannot do when they do the same themselves. The staff team are a bunch of trolls at this point. They are all a team that support each other just for the sake of their own friendships. When a staff is wrong another staff will NOT correct their behavior. Do betterLast but not least my case. I was kicked out basically after an incident occurred. DHS was called to have a talk with me at the school telling me I had told staff my father figure RPED ME When I NEVER made such allegation or even brought the topic up. Also another staff asked me if I was rped by him NEXT TO MY FRIEND WHAT Why would you ask that infront of their friendThere are so many more things I could talk about but this review has to come to an end.Dont go here if you dont want your life to become a mess for you and your family. I suggest Creekside Pacific or anywhere else other than this hell. Stay safe everyone - Tori

Wonderful staff and program They have helped my granddaughter tremendously

Waited 2 months just to get an appointment with a counselor when I told them I needed a psychiatrist which they informed me only a counselor could determine if you needed one. I missed my appointment by 5 minutes tried to call back to reschedule and was told by the automated system to press 0 for the operator did so and was hung up on by said automated system... BIGGEST WASTE OF TIME I will be seeking treatment some place else. This place needs to get their act together if they actually want to help people they are just adding to the problem.

i used to go to this schoolday program until i was kicked out due to my weight and was told i cannot come back until i go to eating disorder treatment. i completed my hard journey of recovery and when coming out of treatment was then deemed no more mental health resources used on me because they were not benefiting me by someone at one of the treatment centers. life works refused to speak to me or my mother due to this leaving us with little to no information. i was thrown back into public school for the last of 8th grade and never went because my social anxiety got even worse without having notice of not being able to return to what i thought was going to be a safe space to be until i was ready to go back. i wasnt ready. freshman year i went to school maybe half the year missing the other half due to lack of motivation and hopelessness. sophomore year same thing. im surprised i even passed. maybe if life works and the eating disorder treatment center would have given us more information i wouldve had a smoother school process but since that didnt happen youll get 1 star. thanks for being the best school ive been to for the short time i was there and i wont thank you for kicking me out with hope of coming back.

My daughter sees Gail. Gail is really good at what she does. Shes a great listener and offers solid advice. My daughter has been a lot more up beat and happy since shes been in therapy. The office is nice clean and comfortable. They offer snacks and drinks. There are toys and books in the waiting area and Im assume in each private room. I couldnt ask for a better placeperson for my daughter to go totalk to. If you read this Gail Youre awesome and thank you for everything

My son was at this school for one month and honestly they have not done anything to help him in any way except for shorten his time there each day. To add insult to injury they kicked my 6 year old out of the school without informing me that he couldnt come back. That is very unprofessional and not called for. For them to be mental health professionals they only left bruises on my baby from holding him down and also he carme home limping one day due them hurting him. Safe to say they only made our situation worse . I wouldnt recommend this program to anyone.

It took quite a while to get my daughter in here but once in Im glad we did. Love the staff and our counselor is amazing I also like the doctor on staff there he is very respectful of the parents right to choose what pharmaceutical route if any to take with our child.

Very busy can be hard to get appts but good people.

The receptionists are usually very professional which is more than I can say for the therapist. She doesnt follow thru on things that she says she will arrange and although I was able to quit gambling the rest of her treatment was very unprofessional. She did nothing to help me find someone who could see me for medication treatment for the issues that I was having although she was well aware of what the issues were.

not sure what you are talking about poop turd... name i guess says alot about your character. lifeworks is a great place for children with mental illness.they support a childs I.E.P. far better than any public or even private school is capable of. lifeworks gets two thumbs up from me. great team keep up the good work.
