Their intake process is a sham. Intake female told me I would not be guaranteed to get prescribed medication that Ive been receiving past 9 years because its only for case by case situation.I told her to show my email response to management. No one responded back.

I like my therapist but the service can be very confusing because of lack communication between providers. My therapist can offer me assistance with one thing and refer me to somebody else in the clinic and the person have no idea what Im talking about. There are times where the receptionists do come off kind of intense. Ive struggled with having Mental Health crisis and the lack of communication has let me fall. If youre not in a current Mental Health crisis than this place is okay

I was told during intake this would be a 14 week program and that I would be doing 8 weeks of dui education followed by 6 weeks of living in balance one after the other only to have that changed 9 weeks in and told I would have to do 14 weeks of living in balance taking my treatment out by an extra 8 weeks up to 22 weeks. I feel lied to and coerced for profit since I was repeatedly told one thing only to have them change it up more than half way through. The response times were non-existent and Id have to repeatedly try and contact someone till Id give up. Not happy with the service at all and regret going through them for my dui diversion all together. Avoid this place if at all possible.

Its easy to see their understaffed but what else can they do Pay livable wages Easier said than done but youd probably expect more tin badge therapists to go for this kind of position.

This review is for my experience working with my service coordinator Tara Marlett on the rehab team. I wanted to discuss her job performance with her supervisor but they did not respond to my voicemail. Tara Marlett was aware of my hospitalization in the emergency department of the ER in Dec 2019 and the poor condition I arrived in having suffered substance kava induced psychosis which led to a depletion off all my bodily fluids and the mental feeling that I was dying. I was so weak I could not physically move my body feed myself shower or use the restroom. Instead of being considerate of the poor condition I was in she insisted that I return to Lifeworks to follow through with therapy. Her tone was harsh and aggressive. She also called the Amenda Clinic where I received my medications on my behalf to tell them I shouldnt be seen by them anymore and that I should only go to a clinic that accepts OHP. When I would call her in crisis which caused me to act violently she would remind me that my actions were illegal instead of helping me calm down so I could return to a healthy mindset. I am currently suffering from PTSD from the aftershock of the lack of empathy and concern that she had for my wellbeing. I strongly advise Lifeworks to consider whether or not Tara Marlett is suited for rehabilitating those with serious mental health concerns as she induced trauma in me.

Excellent therapist. Very knowledgeable supportive engaged and compassionate. The horrible white walls and oppressive artwork feel like a prison. It is the very worst interior design for a therapeutic environment I have ever seen or could imagine. Still best therapist. Shes especially great at EMDR.
