About Laurie Moyer

I am married with two boys who are both currently in college. I feel I have a very laid back approach to therapy and want my patients to feel comfortable. I use art therapy as a means to help my patients express themselves but also do talk therapy for those not interested in art. I allow the patients to decide how they would like their therapy to look, such as sitting on the couch, doing art, playing games or going for a walk outside. I want my patients to get the most out of the therapy process so they can make the progress they need.

All of my visits with Dr. Flaningham have been great. He listens well and truly cares about the wellbeing of his patients. He asks all the necessary questions and really listens to make appropriate recommendations especially when it comes to pharmaceuticals. Id recommend Dr. Flaningham to anyone who needs mental health care.

Dr. Daniel Shepler is so passionate about his work. He is sincere compassionate and such an amazing psychiatrist I am delighted and deeply grateful to finally achieve getting my anxiety and depression fully under control with his expertise. He is such a nice man and I would recommend him to anyone searching for real help with mental health. He validated my feelings and made me realize that in fact I was not crazy. I just needed some help. Thank you so very muchSincerely Alyssa Byrd

Im a new patient at indiana health group and the front desk is very nice. They always answered the phone when Ive called and polite and helpful. There is a deposit at first and I understood that as well. Thanks to Dr. Dan I have been recently getting some of the mental care that I was missing from other places. He is polite and very busy. I get to see him for a second time to give him the update soon. Thank you Indiana Health Group.

this place left me high and dry. i recently experienced an extremely bad reaction to medication that i was put on that left me hospitalized. hallucinations up for almost 48 hours straight night terrors dissociation and EXTREMELY suicidal. i truly thought that i was losing my sanity. when i met with a new provider they were really taken aback by how much anti psychotics were being over prescribed to me and how there was a lot of poly-pharmacy the use of multiple medications to target one symptomcondition going on basically abusing medication. whenever i would take my nightly meds as prescribed it made me so disoriented to the point where i feel intoxicatedalmost drunk. i am an addict in recovery so this sensation is super triggering for me. whenever i would express concern i was either ignored or a new prescription for yet another anti psychotic would be sent to the pharmacy with virtually zero explanation on how to take it why i should be taking it or how its different from what i was just on. when i arrived to the pharmacy the instructions were take as needed. the pharmacist said huh and gave me a look after reading the directions. anti psychotics should never been taken together nor taken as needed. i understand that theres a lot of off label use for medications but at this point its just laziness and negligence on their end. i am being tapered off of every medication this place prescribed me. thank god for st. vincents program or else i fear i might not have survived this episode. on top of it i can barely get a response from ANYONE when i was absolutely at rock bottom. it finally reached the point where i feared for my own safety and went to the stress center after an ER visit. i trusted this place. these people are held in a high regard in the mental health community but its all smoke and mirrors. pill pushers. collecting a check. extremely disconnected corporate feel to this office. i just feel so let down by this place. i trusted them i really did. i still worry i will never fully feel like myself again.

Deb has really helped me over the yrs. I tell her things that are happening in my life that I have never told anyone else. She had been an anchor in my life and she is a giver

What everyone is saying about not being able to get your medicine is 100 correct. It is beyond frustrating trying to get in contact with the medical side of the office. On top of that their insurance policies are always changing and the people at the front office speak to you in such a rude manner when you ask any questions. I loved my therapist here but other than that nothing ever goes smoothly here. Its frustrating to see all these reviews of people having the same experience as me and yet nothing is being done about it. Glad to see they really care.

THE OWNER NEEDS TO BE MADE AWARE OF THIS REVIEW. This isnt a doctors office--its a joke. The office manager Lauren needs fired and replaced so they can hire all new office staff. They dont answer phone calls handle medication refill requests in a timely manner or have any sort of bedside manner.Im out of my medication all weekend because their medical assistant line is remote--meaning they work from HOME. Nothing is ever done properly.

All the providers we worked with were professional and provided a great service the problem is the roadblocks IHG has put in place to limit direct communication with providers. The roadblocks are especially frustrating when there is an urgent matter related to a prescription refill. When calling IHG you can only leave a message for your provider and voicemail is only checked a couple times a day per the recorded message and them message tells you it will take 24-48 hours for someone to get back to you. Same thing when sending a message through their patient portal 24-48 hours for a response. When there is an issue getting a prescription filled and the pharmacy says you need to get your prescriber to take an action 24-48 hours for a response is unacceptable especially if you are out of a medication.Executive decisions have chosen profit over patient wellbeing. We left for another provider not with IHG purely because of the inability to communicate directly with the provider.

My son came here due to his adhd and needing meds. Although the doctor seems to be great and helpful the office staff are not. His appointment was a month ago almost and still no word on when he will get his medication. Ive been calling nonstop asking for them to help the insurance with the preauthorization process but no one ever picks up the phone or returns my phone calls. Ive called the insurance myself to try to sort this issue out but they need more info from the office and he is still out of his medication which is causing him to fail school hes struggling to function. Were out 200 on a wasted doctors visit. Everyone beware If I had read these reviews beforehand I wouldnt have brought him here I only read reviews on the doctor which seems to be great.
