KION Pediatrics - Jonesboro

I feel comfortable with the care that is given by kion pediatrics-Jonesboro. Jennifer always remembers Raylan when he comes in and is awesome with the care she provides. Raylan enjoys her as well and has even gave her a hug on occasion hes 15 mo so thats a big deal we have also had awesome service from the doctors here as well especially Ms Sarah-Grace and Ms Haley. All are extremely caring nurturing and patient.

One thing I think is odd they dont check blood pressure at any visits. When I ask them to they say Whats the reason you want me to check it. Youre suppose to check blood pressure Please start checking blood pressure and dont question when someone asks you to check their childs blood pressure.

I use to love Kion and swear by it. Even ignored everyones comments about the long wait times etc. My issue with them is their prejudice against homebirth. Out of three kids Ive never been told a child needs testing due to the nature of the birth. They were insinuating there was more wrong with my daughter than there was. After one appointment someone called saying she needed blood work done only to find out it was completely unrelated to her health issue she was seen for. Switched to a new doctor and figured out my suspicions were right and my baby is fine. Really disappointed in this place.

I hate to to leave such a poor review because KION has treated us very well for a year. Unfortunately the experience we have here has been turning for the worst.I fully expect every dr.s appointment to run 1-1 12 hours behind schedule. Lately it seems as if they are in a constant state of overwhelm as if they have bit off more than they can chew. The staff is disorganized. They seem less concerned about being timely and organized at all. Its a pretty frantic environment most days we have been there.I cant get a call back on results much less get someone to actually answer the phone. Ive been on hold for 25 minutes this tuesday morning on a test result from friday morning. The desk couldnt tell me anything about how long the results take 3 hours later and i was promised a call back which we never got. By the end of the day i called back to request a referral and no one would answer the call. It has become stressful.I love this Dr office and I would really love to see some improvement in how things are being done because i am considering finding a new office.

Dr. Kris and his team are doing incredible things for kids and families in Jonesboro and the surrounding areas. It is clear that they care deeply about the success and well-being of every single child they see. Their comprehensive and compassionate approach is what make them such a trusted resource for so many families and community partners.I am grateful for the Kion team

The reviews about the office are true. Not just someones opinion. Very unorganized. Definitely needs some kind of manager or organization. The reviews about the phone calls are true as well. I called 45 times in one day. Theyre not THAT busy all day to not answer a phone or am email. I usually end up calling newport clinic to get some help. I called for a Dr excuse for school. I did forget to grab it. I called 3 times and sent an email and still havent received the excuse. Advice on the phone call if you select 3 for the option for them to call you back. They always have for me. I have seen the Dr once and we liked him. He does seem to care. But the wait time and having to see his RPNS happens. When people come to the office they put the trust in there pcp.

What kind of business especially healthcare schedules an appointment at 145 when you know your office is closed from 1-2 That doesnt make sense

I have personally had an absolutely wonderful experience with Dr.Kris the nurse practitioners and the staff. The wait times can sometimes be long but thats because theyre ridiculously busy and very thorough when seeing their patients. I want them to be kind and thorough when it comes to my children so I never expect them to rush through others. Theyve always taken time to explain things and never dismissed my concerns. Im very thankful for them they always put my mind at ease.

1. Your appointment will start at least 2 hours late every time2. Theyll never actually call in those referrals they say they will3. Going for Dr Kris Good luck youll never actually see him just the nurse practitioner. I didnt come here for a nurse practitioner but to see Dr Kris.4. They completely ignored a legitimate concern I had about my child and we ended up having to go to Le Bonheur for treatment because of it5. They never answer the phone6. They bill incorrectly

I cannot speak highly enough of this place We switched to Dr. Kris as my 2 small childrens PCP today and I just cant stop talking about the positive experience. Everyone we encountered was so patient professional and kind including the office team My 2 yo was absolutely thrilled that his awesome nurse checked his beloved Stuffed Bears vitals Dr. Kris was so friendly and knowledgeable and I felt at ease sharing my concerns. My kids loved him It is so rare to find a doctor that takes time to answer questions so our appointment was a breath of fresh air. The entire office was squeaky clean bright cheery and just super fun for my kids We are so excited for our journey with Kion Pediatrics 1010 recommend.
