Badly run place. We volunteered for a summer and had to basically chase someone down to point us in a direction of what they wanted us to do. We were assigned to be a horse Groomer and side walker for the therapeutic riding program we showed up for every shift assigned but were turned away every single time due to not enough riders showing up or due to too many volunteers already there. Here we took a 30 minutes drive to show up and then were turned Away. Not even getting to help out in any other way. Huge disappointment especially when we have lots of horse experience and owning our own horses. It seemed like they were more interested in monetary donations than our time But then not sure where the money goes the place is run down and the horses dont look well taken care of. Go to Corral instead of you wan to volunteer at a great facility.

Im upset because the owner removed my first review of this place. Guess the truth hurts. I went to volunteer and saw the camps were run by teens. Also overheard parents and staff stating the barns are a snake pit. I wasnt there long and got a bad vibe from the place. Theres no pretty stalls. Also this place has an adapted riding program for kids with special needs but they dont have a handicapped bathroom. Instead they have a portable which is GROSS. Even the staff noted Id rather pee out in the woods. Stay away and spend your money elsewhere.

This place is very poorly kept up. The horses are overworked and underfed. The people have smacked the horses in my presence so who knows what they do when...

We had my daughter birthday party there. Its not easy to get 5 girls that never rode a horse before to get organized follow the safety and have fun. They did great job. Thank you for the great experience

Susan was very warm and inviting. She made such a wonderful impression on my little boy and our entire family. The horses were very gentle and easy to maneuver. Great place.

I rode here for a few years. The staff are really nice and the horses are super sweet and loving and can really turn your bad day into a good one. Sadly I moved too far away to continue going here but the memories I made will always have a special place in my heart. I wish I could give 10 stars

My son has been taking horseback riding lessons. He loves it. He has a fairly extreme case of ADHD and this has been huge for him. The people who run it are some of the coolest people you will ever meet and they really are helping people. The horses are super friendly too. Watching my son practice on a horse one day a really bog horse named Pete came up to me and my younger son and was extremely friendly.I love that they are very supportive of disabled children. How can you not love an organization like this

We just finished the 10 week special needs class for our sons and we all had a fantastic experience. Horses for Hope gave our sons the opportunity to get outside and have fun while gaining confidence going outside of their comfort zone.

Horses for Hope offers an excellent therapeutic riding program for those with special physical and mental needs. The riding sessions help to develop core muscle strength and provide a positive environment to interact with others as well as animals.
