I have worked with HBH for 13 years part-time now full-time.I enjoy working with our clients and families. Every new skill learned and each maladaptive behavior replaced by a alternative acceptable behavior brings its own rewards. HBH possesses many team members across each department who are welcoming friendly efficient and have their own heart-warming stories. Please come and see for yourselves. Take care

HBH ABA services have helped our son and our family learn important skills. When he first started ABA services he made sounds and said a few words. Within 6 months he was using 3-4 word sentences His listening skills have improved he shares with other children he sits at the table to do work and heenjoys group activities with his peers. He loves goingto the HBH Clinic and LEAP Program and seeing his BCBA RBT and all of his friends. Its a positive fun clean environment He learns something new every session. Our BCBA provides very valuable information and support during parent time. We have learned ABA methods to decrease our sons tantrums and noncompliance. We have also learned effective strategies to build skills develop better behavior habits and learn appropriate skills. We highly recommend HBH for services to families

I worked for them as a paraprofessional and I would not recommend them to others. If you are thinking of becoming a paraprofessional please go to Bayada or RCM. They pay more...Hawaii Behavioral healthcare pays their paras the lowest. They also call you while you are at work which causes the teachers to complain to the agency that you are on the phone while at work. So unprofessional. They made me work as a master sub and did not want to pay me for the work so I quit.. Again if you want to be a paraprofessionalSkills Trainer please go to another agency.
