I got an endoscopy procedure from Dr. Cohen which went very well. No issues with the logistics pre or post procedure. The reason I am giving a 3 star review is due to billing.Since the only provider for the procedure is Northwestern I would have expected the office of Dr. Cohen to be more transparent with the costs. I now owe over a 2k bill for this procedure and if I had known that I would be responsible for this amount I would have not done the procedure at the time I did. Medical providers need to start being more transparent with these costs because it creates unhappy patients.

Had a routine procedure with Dr. Cohen. I am always nervous about even mild sedation but he was very kind and reassuring and the procedure went smoothly. The nurses were wonderful as well and kept my family informed when there was a slight delay. His assistant Maritza was also very thorough with preparation and information prior to the appointment.

Dr. Cohen is terrific. I was quite anxious for my test but he made the entire experience comfortable for me. His staff was organized and responsive. They answered all my questions both before and after the procedure. Dr. Cohen explained everything to me in a way I could understand. He came highly recommended by many of my friends and colleagues and now I understand why. I too highly recommend Dr. Cohen.

Dr. Cohen his office staff and the nurses could not have been more professional patient and nice to boot. They answered all my questions in a timely manner gave thorough instructions for my procedure and alleviated any ahead of procedure concerns. Dr. Cohen was great before and after the procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Cohen.

During my appointment with Dr. Cohen he was very knowledgeable. He asked me well thought out questions to determine how he could best help me with my stomach issues. After he finished asking me a series of questions he put together a 4 step action plan. This is how a doctor is supposed to treat their patients. With care and compassion. I was really impressed.

I have seen Dr. Cohen several times over the year and he had done colonoscopy and endoscopy procedures on me as well. Dr. Cohen is an outstanding and rare kind of doctor. He comes into an appointment fully prepared from reading a patients records and then spends a lot of time asking questions and actually listening to help the diagnostic process. He spends more time with patients than any other doc I have seen minimum of 30 minutes and really cares about them. He obviously is highly experienced and is an excellent diagnostician. He presents treatment options clearly and explains the pros and cons of them then letting the patient decide on an informed basis. He is state of the art in following new developments and treatments. He is also a great person. Maritza who manages his office is very kind supportive and helpful. Overall I could not be more pleased with Dr. Cohen and his practice.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Cohen for over 5 years. He is thorough with his diagnoses and provides the best care for the betterment of his patients health. His office manager is also extremely helpful and welcoming.

Dr. Cohen is very knowledgeable very thorough and very personable... rare to see this combination. His administrator Maritza is pleasant and helpful... also rare. I feel luck to have found him I even recommended him to my husband.

Dr. Cohen was patient and empathetic regarding all may concerns...not dismissive or rude. He took a complete history of my bowel issues back over 20 years. His own research was obviously on his own time incl. pictures and results. I feel a so grateful to have a Dr who is accessible not 3 months away My concerns of all my health were addressed and I left with the weight of the world off me. DR Cohen has been my Doctor for a few years now. I came from a family of Doctors. He provides personal attention and he is compassionate and easy to communicate with directly. He is an exception to todays medical practices. I wish there were more DR Cohens. He deserves more stars then they allow.
