THEY FORCE YOU TO BUY SOMETHING TO PARK SHOP THERE. This place is scammyEdit The response from GW is laughable. I live downtown and I can walk to this location. One time though I pulled in they dont even tell you that you have to pay to park this old man was out there just ushering people in and then giving them slips. I asked if we had to pay to park but since I was shopping I was told no. I didnt find anything I liked after shopping so I went to my car only to be told I needed my parking validated in which they only do if you BUY something. The worst part was the old man saying yeah you have to pay for parking in the city as if its normal to pay to shop at goodwill.

Always some unique finds or some vintage movies on dvd. Today I found these brand new Adidas in the box for 24.99. Not bad. Picked up a couple.

I bought a small piece of clothing and the lady told me i was getting 15 seniors discount but was not giving me the 15 seniors discount at all She even asked me for my ID to see how old I was. The item was orange tagged so 50 off their already too high a price. It came out 3.14. I asked the lady why she wanted my ID if was not going to give me the discount. They have help that does not know what she is doing

Actually i excited to be here the price is very low price. But because is all thrift so if you want to choose you need spen more time for looking the best and suit for you

This place literally ripped me off for 30. Two weeks ago I bought a cordless vacuum cleaner 20 and it did not work even after an employee said that they test every electronic device. I took it back within 7 days with the tag and they would not take it back. The cashier told me that she could see the item on their computer past inventory. Then today this happens again I bought a computer monitor10 that didnt work so I return it with the receipt and once again they would not take it back. Literally GW is stealing from customers. Not only are most of their inventory donated but overpriced and defective. How do you people live with yourselves stealing from people. What a shame. A complaint with the downtown city should be submitted. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION THEY WILL PICK POCKET YOU WITH LITTLE TO NO REMORSE

Great goodwill downtown near the historic area of San Antonio Friendly staff and well organized

Wow this location needs some serious TLC from its corporate office.Firstly this is designated Fiesta goodwill. I will tell you I found a fiesta dress at an alternate goodwill for 4 here however they are priced 40 minimum at this location. Metals from past year are priced 8 and up lots priced at 12 very surprising as most of these are nonprofit agencies.There is a designated parking area. Each number is marked and you have 1 hour to shop. There was a parking attendant who thinks hes apart of SAPD detectives unit. Because not only did he question me and my family multiple times but once inside he stated he went looking for my daughter specifically because she had a fiesta hat on with metals so inappropriate my daughter is 7 yo. To make sure I didnt go to any other location. Then when I returned to my car after making a purchase and having time to spare he questioned us further. I asked if he does this to everyone and he said yes to make sure were not doing anything else.Also while in the store shopping and employee yelled out from the center of the store to a guest is she was going to pay for her things. And proceeded to talk about theft and how if she has to work so can the thief and why is everyone staring at her she was yelling. The checkout staff was knowingly ignoring a special needs guest wanting assistance with a toy price for over 20 minutes. I watched them ignore her and I had to facilitate for them to help her because I refused to line jump her.Hope they get better. I made sure to leave a survey response.

FREE PARKING Very SATISFIED with their parking arrangement get your parking ticket validated at the register and the parking is free. I found a cute pink fuzzy zip-up hoodie a ghost busters costume everyone wished they found it first T shirts and an old Speak N Spell I had one in the early 80s.

Everyone on staff here was extremely friendly. The cashier Patrick greeted me immediately and was nice to everyone who came in. The lady who I dropped off my donation to was also very nice. I enjoyed my visit. It was very clean and organized. You can park in the back of the store just let the parking attendant know. Be sure to validate your ticket when leaving. The only reason I didnt give this place five stars because it smelled like pee in some places throughout the store.
