Goodwill Industries of Kentucky - Louisville - St. Matthews

Had a large walker in store and it did not have a tag just sticker priced on it. It would not fit in my cart so I asked them to hold item up front which they did. A lady who worked there brought it up to the man cashier. About 30 minutes later another lady had it at checkout and I went over and told her that was mine. The cashier them states we dont hold items and this guy is new and didnt know. Please train your employees to know whats going on.I called to speak to the manager and got Charity who tells me you know the rules because you shop at brownsboro store. lol brownsboro has held many large items until I go to checkout. It seems like it would fall on a manager to train people and not expect customers to know their rules that change pending the day and store. News alert. Not all of your stores follow the same rules. Charity them states what do you want me to do about it. Not sure how they pick managers there but its up to you to train your employees Charity. She was downright rude and blamed me for what happened in the store. She needs to take accountability as a manager or find a new career.

Standard Goodwill. I found some shorts and leggings today. They have a wide variety clothes and all kinds of household items

Over priced donated items for sell. Short staffed long checkout wait oh over priced items that were donated. Some nice things to purchase but they are priced way too high.I understand what Goodwill does to help the job market. I also know that frequent markdowns are a guage for overpriced items. The fact still remains that thift shoppers expect thrift prices and some of your prices are retail cost.

Very unorganized and very rude. People at this one recommend do not go

Worst experience at a goodwill. The cashier supposed manager of this establishment checked me out. She was huffing and puffing and throwing things around as she was rudely checking people out. I purchased a small childrens backpack and a little toy truck for my son. It was 15 which I knew was not the right price but in the hustle and bustle of her rushing through customers I didnt even second guess it. I paid and went to my car and reviewed my receipt. I noticed that she had charged my for one of my items 3xs. I immediately went back in to get my money back. She refused to refund me and said that there was nothing she could do because the refund would be under 10. It had to be over 10 to get refunded. That didnt sit right with me. She told me I could go and find something in the store that was 10 or less and take it for free. Which made no sense to me at all. How can you over charge for an item and not be willing to give the customer the money back that was the error of the cashier I know it wasnt a lot of money but its the concept of it. I would advise all customers to check their receipts at this location. They could be overcharging people and getting away with it which is stealing. I probably wouldnt have caught it had my sister who was shopping with me not pointed out that 15 was double what I actually bought.I believe they could be stealing money this way and using this wrong policy to cover it up.

Cashier named Victoria is the rudest women you will meet. I had a table being held up front and she sold it to another customer before I got up to the register then denied ever seeing so called table and then said I was too pretty to buy that table anyways. Great customer service Victoria

This place never disappoints To be honest Ive never seen a Goodwill have such a selection of literally everything. They can be a bit pricy with some things but still cheaper then buying it new. Worth the stop for sure.

The manager of the store was going through and removing all the color tags that were half off

They need to have more than 1 entrance because parking is a nightmare Other than the parking situation its not awful but I doubt I will come back to this...

Staff was very friendly and personable issue is mainly with the pricing. Its a decent sized store but the prices on some items are pretty high for a thrift store. Reference images attached. When I went there was some cool stuff. I know they dont clean the furniture though because the car in front of me was dropping off a couch and it immediately went on the floor and had crumbs in all the crevices still.

Decent store. I came to look for maternity clothing and the selection was limited. Did find some other items that should bring comfort. Inside wasnt bad...

Very quickly becoming my new favorite place to shop....for anything. The new location on Shelbyville Road is amazing and has such a huge selection of apparel furniture electrics and kitchen equipment. Everything is worth the price and its about time to finally see Goodwills brand positioned in a positive light with the community. After many years of hard work and effort they are finally getting the recognition they deserve. You will always find something when you go.
