Goodwill Industries of Kentucky - Louisville - Northfield

As a significant amount of people have said.. this place has very rude employees and they take items for themselves. Considering the amount of bad reviews on this particular topic youd think action would be taken. But obviously goodwill doesnt care. Theres a solid chance youll be treated poorly by the workers and thats just how it is according to Goodwill. Because if they cared it wouldnt be a reoccurring complaint.

Confusing price board. extremely rude service .My first and last time at this location .

I visited this store for the first time today. What I seen and heard there today was awful. Overheard some of the employeesworkers there cracking up and laughing about telling there boss manager that another employee coworker had a body odor probably from working and sweating Boy I hope they get reported and fired. To make jokes and laugh about something like that isnt something we need in those kind of stores. Definitely will not go back there for that reason alone. I walked out shaking my head

it was a zoo with lots of rude shoppers i left wont be back the set up is chaotic

We went here for furniture but we didnt find most of the store is clothes Im giving it five stars for the organizeclean store and for friendly staff

My first time shopping at this Goodwill location. When you walk in to the left there is a rack of T-Shirts that have a price of 1.99. I picked up a few and continued shopping. When I got to the register the lady rang everything up as 5.49. I told her the T-Shirts were from that rack marked 1.99 and she said they must have been there by mistake because those are only for 100 cotton T-shirts. I thought nothing of it as there was a line and I didnt want to cause a fuss but when I got home I looked at the items myself and my son picked up and 35 T-Shirts were 100 cotton So basically I over paid 10.50. The cashier should be able to differentiate or at least be able to read the tags and the sign should not say T-Shirts 1.99 it should say Cotton T-Shirts 1.99. In addition I was using gift certificates and she didnt know how to ring them up and the manager I believe Shawn had to come help her. That wasnt a big deal because everyone has to learn but the fact I was overcharged 10.50 is not acceptable.

Went back to the same store and was approached by an employee who told me corporate showed him a picture of myself and a few other ladies shopping in the carts. Why are they sharing my photo with employees because at that time it was up to the person pulling the cart out. The employee came to me and said I just saw a picture of you and other ladies in my cart and this will not happen again. I felt threatened and singled out because everyone goes in the carts. This is the straw that broke the camels back. After spending around 8000 in that store last year I will NEVER go back and spend another penny. Corporate should be more concerned with the clothes spread out all over the floor products thrown about the store causing safety hazards slippingfalling. Corporate sits in an office taking pictures of customers when they should get off their butts and visit the stores and STOP taking photos of those supporting your store.Theres a tall lady brownish hair somewhat old and always screaming at other employees. Shes usually in the back but does come out on floor. A cashier was calling for help and she comes out of the back and screams I heard you the first time. Ive also seen her be very rude to customers. They favor some customers at this location. They are allowed to go through the carts but then they yell at others for the same thing. clothes scattered all over the floor creating a safety hazard.

I had been a patron of this goodwill for a few years but not anymore. I went in today and spotted an item that was larger and had the regular price tags on it. I placed it in my cart to purchase. Not a minute a minute later I was accosted by two large male employees saying that the item had already been purchased. Shoving a specialty price tag in my face they all but yelled at me that I should have never have picked it up. I tried to explain why I had picked it up and was talked over by both men. If the item is a specialty price that should be the only tag on the item as it usually is. That is all I wanted to communicate didnt even want to argue about it already being sold and I was not allowed to and basically accused of trying to steal it out from under another customer. The two men then snatched the item from my cart almost hitting me with it. I will never step foot in this store again after the way I was treated. I was made to feel very uncomfortable and singled out. FEMALE BUYER BEWARE OF MALE EMPLOYEES.

Prices here are awesome No matter the brand except some shoes and purses the prices are the same. I got American Eagle shorts Hollister shorts and Old Navy all 3.99 each. Brand New pair of Gap Jeans with the tag for 5.49. Liz Claiborne purse4.29....So much more. They have kids toys and clothes. House decorations some furniture vacuum cleaners electronics book dishes and lots of other things as well. You never know what you will find. Ive always had good experiences with staff and the stores have always been clean

It would be one star but I gave an extra because they have some cool stuff. However you cant try anything on so I specifically asked about the return policy and was told within ten days no problems just keep the tags on. I came back the next day and was told no cash back. Two thumbs down for not explaining this and also for not paying attention and charging me full price for something that was a weekly special and should have been 99 cents. I realized when I got to the car and went right back in but the person who rang me up had gone on break.
