I was profiled by one of this companys guards while shopping at a bi Mart individual looks very under professional his uniform is very dirty and soiled he also seem to be intoxicated by the way he smelled He did not have any security identifiers on his back and all of his identifiers were generic that could be bought in any General store there was no company identifier and guard was only willing to give a dpsst number this is not a professional company by any means
I have had wonderful experiences working with DPI Staffing. I have gained so much knowledge through the positions I have been given. Christina Rodriquez from DPI in Portland Oregon has been the best at communicating with me keeping me updated on current positions finding wonderful work for me. She has been an absolute pleasure working with her.
DPI is a wonderful company to work for . All the employees are very respectfully nice Christina at DePaul Industries on N.E. MLK has helped me with job placement for years now does a magnificent wonderful job at it I give Christina the company 5 Stars 2 Thumbs Up
Im not sure its proper to pay well raffle for review postings but Ive worked though DePaul now DPI off and on for a long time and I wouldnt be where I am now without them as I was originally placed in the now permanent job I have by DePaul and still work a small secondary job through them. They also deserve credit for setting up the Community Services Network as many people who could possibly benefit from DPI assignments have other issuesbarriers they need addressing in order to be a good employee. For those who dont like that they drug test upon intake rightly or wrongly the Federal government outlaws drugs and DPI does do some Federal staffing. It may also be an insurance issue.
The hiring process was easy and the pay is regular and decent. That is to say there have been zero glitches in my getting paid accurately and promptly.4 stars due to communication issues but overall I have been very happy with my assigmnets.
I recently saw a video where an employee working as security officer for DPI was was using foul language making racial remarks. He was purposely making threats of intimidation. At no point did that security make any attempt to de-escalate the situation. When guard did go back to his post he spent the entire time with headphones on looking at his phone. This was at a city hall.if this the best this company has to offer then I would not recommend them to protect anything.
Who do DPI security guards protect Not children or people who are disabled or the elderly or young adults with autism. They will however allow intimidating transients on bicycles to circle around a disabled woman with no legs in a wheelchair an under 6 year old child and his tiny dog who are all shivering in the cold outside of the Eastside Family Services Center. Security will do nothing while a very scary man on a bicycle circles closer and closer to these vulnerable people staring menacingly. Even though the woman is on the phone with James a DPI security supervisor who claims he will call Michael Robertson on site and tell him no one ever checks on these vulnerable people and animal. Why are these individuals and animals shivering in the cold Because DPI so-called security Michael Robertson has blocked them from entry to the building because their service and assist dogs are not wearing vests. Michael Robertson forced a mom with two children to choose between feeding her hungry family by having to leave her under six years old son and tiny dog outside shivering in the cold alone or letting her children starve and leaving. He forced an autistic young man to enter the building without his psychiatric dog and mother with her service assist dog both of whom survived being hit by a drunk driver even after the mother explained they could not afford vests and offered to show the Multnomah County Animal Control paperwork designating each dog as service animals. Even though it is a class C misdemeanor to interfere with the work of a service dog DPI did not care or make any attempt to help out.In addition when the Mom who is a coma survivor and visually impaired attempted to ask Michael Robertson what company he worked for Michael Robertson yelled at her to read my arm patch even though she explained she couldnt. He yelled repeatedly read my arm patch He leaned over shoving it near her face. Even though 2 directors and James were notified of these events there was no follow up or apology. Michael Robertson made no attempt to contact DHS agency staff for assistance or direction. Instead he claimed the building manager was agency staff.Be wary of any place you go which is protected by DPI personnel. Vulnerable populations will be abused neglected and placed in danger. Most likely DPI will respond to this review by somehow deflecting blame to the agency or the victims. Responsibility will not be acknowledged.
Thank you DPI for the excellent communication and for the opportunity to work with our state of Oregon. Great recruiters and good amount of hours per week.
Amazing people that work for you to find employment. Ive dealt with other employment agencies that treat you like dirt but this one has only ever gone the extra mile for me. Highly suggested if you are looking for work and have challenges that keep you from being hired.
I have never in my life felt so disrespected and devalued by the outcome of this staffing agency. I got hired on as a maintenance engineer and supposedly someone dropped the ball by not truly telling me that the position was going to be temporary and no one is holding themselves accountable. Because I thought I could truly strongly believed the representative of DePaul Staffing but now I am left without a job. And I passed on two great opportunities from different sources because I trusted them to still have my job. I am left with a sense of distrust and disappointment on their behalf. I will never recommend anyone to this employment firm at all after now knowing there is no guarantee a great job and outcome. I should of not taken this position knowing that they are justifying and making an excuse that their was a miscommunication. Im left stressing out and left with bills that are due. But by the Grace of God and providence I will find a perminate position even if it means without their help.Update since I was left in finding employmentthe representative has told me after I posted my experienceto please remove the comments off of here which has been more than two months at the most... Since this ordeal has happened I get a bunch of bull. She wont even call me to figure out a better system. In my resume I have a lot of experience in many fields and have been treated as a victim and or a process and left without being valued. I cant believe that their misunderstandings or their partners have done what they have done to me. She will probably never contact me in regards to the miserable experience which I lostor at least little less than minimum wage jobs. Please be careful with these so called helping the community when it comes to EVEN the disabled which makes me wonder if they truly value them. The worst part about it is that they live with their heads on their pillow or mattress like they have done enough or done nothing wrong. They get a certain percentage of every hour they hired youfor each hour they contracted you to established employment. Do your homework and be careful with these types of staffing agencies. Oh by the way they will make do an experience and feedback on their system to supposedly let the company know how it wentafter the interview and if you get hired you or will be pending for a job they will ask you to do a survey on the experienced on the way out. A feedback for lack of terms. I gave them a 5 star because I believed that I would not get treated this way. But ultimately the results say it for themselves. They really dont care about you...but they are getting paid because you are a body.
I like many other thousands of people am unemployed and desperately looking for a position. I answered a blind ad on Craigslist and was contacted by Jose...
