The whole time I was with DSSW I only had my 6 hours filled rarely. I almost never had a regularly scheduled attendant and a lot of the time I had more energy to get things accomplished than they did. I spent a lot of time with the floater staff and I loved working with them. Even if they didnt get all of my hours they would try to set me up for a week with a clean house more organized and clean myself. My last floater Alexa I saw every other week for 3.5 hours but she was outstanding. I really wish there had been more emphasis on finding me a permanent attendant and less on just getting by.

DSSW has been very helpful to my family by managing the pay of our sons attendants. They also made the hiring process super easy.

Just a little more check ups with me. Yes they need to touch with me more often. Not once a year.

If you are having this agency pick your caregiver for you I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT This was the first agency I have worked with and they were horrible. The people they hire are not professional at all they just decide to not show up the next day for work with out calling or texting. I was having to constantly call and ask for a special attendant since we didnt have a permanent one. Gabby was the first attendant I had and Krista was the 2nd and I would not recommend either of them Its like they were taught in training that if they didnt want to show up for work just dont and they dont have to call into the agency either. Now the case worker I had was not great. Norel if thats how you spell it I would call his cell get no answer and then have to call his boss Maria. I felt like I was always trying to contact him or remind him of things that he would say that he was going to do.If I had to choose between this company and anything else I would not choose DSSW Lesson learned. They have no idea what their doing and just hire people off the street who are breathing instead of hiring good people with experience and credibility.
