Crossroads Speech and Occupational Therapy - W. Belmont Ave

As both an educator of 20 years and a mother I highly recommend Crossroads Speech Therapy for their exceptional services. My son struggled with speech issues and when I brought my concerns to Crossroads they made the screening process easy and informative talking me through what sounds my son should have mastered given his age and how speech therapy could help him learn to articulate sounds that were proving difficult for him. Ms. Jamie his instructor established a fantastic bond with my son from day one making each session enjoyable and productive for him. My son didnt see speech therapy as work or a punishment but instead looked forward to his time with her each week Ms. Jamie created a positive learning environment with an effective blend of skill development and practice combined with engaging games that allowed him to practice his skills in spontaneous speech this balance kept him motivated and growing. The time and money our family spent on this therapy has been invaluable and were so glad we worked with Crossroads as our experience with them from start to finish has been entirely positive. Our son has made significant progress which has allowed him to develop his articulation and ensure that academically he is strong with his reading and writing skills. Crossroads provides an excellent experience with dedicated professionals who truly make a positive impact on the children they service and their families.

Ms. Alayna at Crossroads for speech therapy is PHENOMENAL My son who was 2 when we first started his sessions is a shy boy but Ms. Alayna made him feel so comfortable that by the second and third session he would run into her room all by himself. His speaking abilities and grammar have flourished in just 6 months. Ms. Alayna went above and beyond and traveled to our sons daycare to work on behavior and interactive speech while he interacted with his peers. We are truly grateful and amazed by the progress our son has made thanks to the very talented Ms. Alayna I HIGHLY recommend Alayna and this facility.

Alex has been wonderful in Speech Therapy with our youngest son She has helped him work through articulation challenges associated with mild hearing loss and he has been making amazing progress. Alex is a pleasure to work with and has been so flexible with our schedule.

My son started Occupational therapy about six months ago he was 9 months old through Early Intervention. We were lucky enough to get paired up with Crossroads and even luckier to get paired with Kaitlin Cyrier. She has been an absolute game changer for my sons development. He is making incredible progress and we owe it all to Kaitlin Not only is she an amazing OT but she is truly a fantastic person. My son absolutely adores her and bonded with her right away. She goes out of her way to accommodate our crazy schedule and always communicates session updates and next steps when I cant be there. We highly recommend Kaitlin to anyone looking for an occupational therapist.

My son has been working with Kaitlin Cyrier for occupational therapy at Crossroads since earlier this year and the experience has been wonderful. Kaitlin is so thoughtful and attentive to my sons needs always brainstorming new ideas and exercises to help him achieve his goals. She is also a great communicator and always goes the extra mile to explain what they are working on and offer feedback for in-home and at-school. I have seen so much improvement already in my sons executive function skills in a very short period of time. I cannot recommend her enough. A superior therapist.

I have been working the Alexandra Lioznov for the past several months on some articulation concerns and it has been an excellent experience. Alex is invested thoughtful and kind. I have made so much progress and always look forward to our weekly meetings because she is also very funMy time with Alex has improved my health well-being and ability to communicate and I would strongly recommend her to anyone.

I have felt so comfortable and supported from the first phone call to schedule an appointment to now 5 months later. From my experience with Alex she has gone above and beyond my expectations. I wanted to improve speech clarity as I struggled with particular sounds. Alex created a supportive environment for me to grow and improve my speech without feeling embarrassed. I have improved my speech clarity and reduced the frequency of choking while ingesting solid and liquid foods. I am truly gratefully for Alexs help in improving my quality of life. I recommend making the phone call to Crossroads if you ever thought about improving your speech.

My son has been working with Abigail Abby Rubin at Crossroads for speech therapy services for about 18 months. He received services through Early Intervention because we had concerns about speech delays. Abby is wonderful and did an excellent job establishing a relationship with my son. She helped him feel comfortable and look forward to our speech therapy sessions twiceweek. Through play-based therapy Abby helped him improve his vocabulary and pronunciation. She taught us so much about speech therapy and gave us tools resources to use at home with our son. I am so grateful to Crossroads and Abby for all she has done to help our son improve his speech and better prepare him for preschool

We worked with Abby for a little less than two years. My daughter and I absolutely adore her. We only had one session with her before the pandemic hit and everything went virtual. Virtual learning is a challenge but in our virtual sessions Abby was always so incredibly patient and understanding. This was the most wonderful experience because not only did Abby engage my daughter and help her to feel successful but she also empowered me with the tools I needed as a parent to help my daughter grow.
