Staff wont help you. Theyre there for a lazy job for easy money. They wont care about you. They dont care about their jobs either. Ive been through several DVR locations. Denver location is the worst Other DVR locations I had worked with are not great either but a lot of employees at the Denver location has evil intentions... This has been my experience with them and Im sure Im not the only one.

DVR was supposed to help me pay for graduate school and apply for internships. I applied for assistance in 2020. It took an entire year for my plan to be processed. My counselor is Ricky. He is awful. I have paid for tuition out of pocket and with loan money. I had to work with his supervisor to get 2000 of tuition covered for this semester and there is still 580 on my account left over that my counselor said they would pay and havent. It is like pulling teeth and I constantly have to contact the supervisor to get anything done. I requested a different counselor and they refused my request. My counselor told has consistently forgotten meetings cancelled meetings not been in the office or basically any excuse not to process anything to do with my services. These people are lazy and dont care at all about helping people with disabilities pursue success.

I recently had occasion to visit the Division of Vocational Rehabilitations Evans office. I had spoken with Ms Ivy who was very professional helpful and knowledgeable. All the staff I encountered were polite and helpful. I was able to get an appointment quickly and have everything resolved within a few days. These folks can be a fantastic resource the trick is finding out what you need or what programs they offer. Its not ever day that I can say I went to a government office and enjoyed myself.

Im stuck in an abusive relationship with a therapist because this person is the only one DVR trusts to go over my test results with me and they do not listen well when I explain the situation.

They were absolutely no help. I went through them because I was referred to them. I was interested in going back to school. The first counselor I was set up with was RETIRING Why set someone up with someone who was retiring So I was passed along later to another counselor who sat on my stuff. Then when you hound them down they quickly rush through everything and then Sorry we cant help you. It was a waste of my time money I had to take Lyft or Uber because public transport to get there was ugh
