Children's Eye Physicians - Denver

I was referred by our pediatrician to this facility for my 3 year old sons first eye exam. I called towards the end of March to make the appointment he was seen yesterday. Totally understandable since we are new patients and this place is very busy Anyway this facility is clean comfortable and all the staff are very friendly. I was surprised how easy it was to get the exam done on a toddler that wants to explore everything. These ladies make it fun and engaging for the kids.

Everyone on staff was friendly today and that always is a positive. Dr. Houston has some new equipment and could show me the freckle on the back of my eye and can also continue to keep track of my macular. She is always mindful about doing this since my mother had macular degeneration. She is also monitoring cataract growth in my eyes. She cares about my eyes and its not just a job for her She is positive friendly but yet professional.

We love Dr. Huston. Shes the best for our whole family. We wish Dr. King well on his retirement.

Its hard to get an appointment here not once you are in the doctor and the staff know what they are doing. The treatment plan for slowing down the kids myopic progression is second to none.

Dr Houston is just awesome Super friendly super thorough and knowledgeable. I highly recommend.

Dr. Huston and the staff were great with my child and put her at ease with the process. I appreciated that they were thorough in their explanations. The front desk staff were also friendly and helpful.

Its close to home drivable incase my eyes are dilated. The optometrist are awesome and the assistant. The only negative is the clerk had me call my insurance carrier for a unique number when all the information was on my card. If she wanted to assist other staff or customers I would have kindly waited .

We love Dr Steele She has given our child the ability to see clearly and consequently learn to read. This location was clean and the staff was kind. Highly recommend

UPDATE I got a call back from a manager who then did invite me come back in for a no cost recheck on the prescription. There was a significant error and as a result they are replacing my lenses. it should not have been this hard to get a positive response but in the end they did the right thing.If I could give zero stars I would. Experience with this practice was a clustercuss from beginning to end. Took months to get an initial eye exam appointment. Then when I said I wanted new lenses in my existing frames because I couldnt find any frames in their entire inventory I liked they said I had to give them my glasses for 6-8 weeks. Which I did making do with reading glasses and old prescription sunglasses. Then they lost my frames. Did not reach out. After two months I call them to find out what is going on -- they finally tell me they are lost at the lab...then then find them but it still takes another few weeks before I get the glasses. Then the prescription is bad. Literally unable to see beyond 6 feet in front of me. When I stopped in to drop the glasses the tech told me there wasnt a record of a progressive script.. but that he would follow up with the doc and sort it out.... So - clearly there was a mistake on their end. I called to get an appointment to have them correct the glasses and find out that they will not even cover the cost of the revisit appointment -- let alone any help with the needed new lenses. I canceled my appointment and will pay out of pocket to go somewhere else. Complete nightmare of quality service and communication.

Dr Arbuckle has long been a favorite of ours. He is wonderful with kids and an excellent doctor to boot. This office got us in and out on time which was appreciated. Great place
