I have been taking my children to CAP for the last several years and have had a great experience with this practice. Dr. Spanier is fantastic. She is patient and kind and never makes us feel rushed in or out spending the time we need for a complete exam and answering our questions. Madeline her MA was incredibly patient and understanding with my 11 year old child who is very anxious for shots and helped us work through the struggles to complete the 4 shots she was due for. I am incredibly grateful for having such a wonderful team of physicians and support staff to send my children to.

Awful experience with this office and organization. The process to get your child enrolled is 2 months long. I provided them with all the requested documents and I was told I still had to wait 6 weeks for my sons shot records to be reviewed before I could schedule an appointment. I simply wanted an appointment as soon as possible because my son was having some issue where he would vomit from time to time but it didnt necessarily warrant going to the ER. I was told that it is their policy to have a nurse review his record before any appointment could be arranged and that this process could take 6 weeks. They make no exceptions even if your child is sick.

Awful experience at this practice. We were coerced into getting our breastfed 6 month old a flu vaccine in February. The doctor basically called us dumb if we did not give him a flu shot. My baby has now had a horrible reaction to it.

Very shady billing practices. Recently a specialist asked that I get a form filled up from the childs PCP before they can make a decision on the treatment. In theory this was a Provider-to-Provider communication but I inserted myself in the process to speed up things. CAP charged me and said each form entails a charge. Since when does PCP charge money to make recommendation provide opinion to a specialist. SMH.

Amazing practice All the doctors and nurses that we have seen have been exceptional Highly recommend.I will say that scheduling appointments is a challenge getting an actual person on the phone is near impossible and getting forms filled out is 15 per form but all of these things are just normal pediatrician things for this area unfortunately. It is extremely frustrating but we knew this going in and decided to go with this practice because the doctors and nurses are fantastic. We also love that there are many locations and at least one location nearby that offers appointments on Saturdays and Sundays.Overall a wonderful practice with doctors and nurses that seem to truly care. I highly recommend this practiceFor the practice itself please consider making it easier to actually talk to a human especially if its just a billing or insurance question. Im sure its like this for a reason but it is truly impossible to talk to a human. If I had an issue I would literally just go into the office to talk to someone instead of wasting my time trying to get someone on the phone.Thank for actually seeming to care

The lactation consultant Kim Hawkins is AMAZINGNot only is she extremely knowledgeable and skilled with breastfeeding but she is warm and caring which is really important when working with overwhelmed and stressed parents. Her office is a beautiful inviting space and I immediately felt comfortable there. Thanks Kim- youre the best

I have had a great experience at CAP. Dr. Baeder is amazing and takes the time to answer all my questions and to show my son everything shes going to do before she does it. Im always able to get same day appointments for sick visits at one of the locations. I do schedule well visits ahead of time they let you schedule a year out so I dont have to worry about delays in getting an appointment. Ive used the messaging through the portal regularly and get a response within hours. Ive also had to call the after-hours nurses line a few times and got prompt helpful responses each time. I havent had any issues checking in or with insurance and everyone from reception to nurses to doctors has been friendly and helpful.

The admin side of this practice is very poorly managed. In recent years it has become more and more difficult to schedule appointments with very long wait times for well visits. It is a struggle to talk to any human to resolve billing or insurance issues which causes unnecessary issues and frustration.

Extremely Slow Registration Process Parents choose other options for Pediatrics in Falls Church.I am deeply disappointed with my experience attempting to register my daughters at this Pediatrics center in Falls Church. I submitted a registration request at the beginning of August because of its proximity to our home. However Ive encountered an incredibly sluggish and inefficient registration process that has left me frustrated and concerned about the quality of service they provide. The major issue revolves around the painfully slow processing of our registration request. Although the center received medical records from our previous insurance provider Kaiser within a mere two weeks they have inexplicably failed to process our registration up until now. I reached out to them to inquire about the delay and was met with a shocking response we have thousands of new patients and we do not know how long more its gonna take. This lack of transparency and accountability is utterly unacceptable. Not to mention I had to spend money on Urgent care and ER during the wait time.In stark contrast I recently registered my daughters at a different Pediatrics center in Falls Church and their registration process took a mere 24 hours. The stark difference in efficiency between the two centers has left me questioning the commitment of this particular clinic to providing timely and efficient care to its patients. The registration ordeal has raised serious concerns about the clinics priorities. If they cannot manage a basic registration process in a reasonable timeframe how can I trust them to provide quality medical care when it truly matters It appears that the clinics focus is not on patient care and service which is deeply disappointing for any healthcare facility.I strongly advise anyone seeking pediatric care in the Falls Church area to explore alternative options. The agonizingly slow and inefficient registration process Ive experienced is a clear indication that this center may not prioritize its patients well-being. My daughters health is too important to be entrusted to an establishment that appears to be more interested in bureaucracy than patient care. I should have choose different Pediatric sooner instead of trusting them.

I met nurse Heidi for the first time today and my usually shy up one meeting son and I both liked her right away. She was excellentDr. Oh Tan is our favorite and is always amazing. She takes the time we need seems to really remember our family and childs issues and is open minded and an advocate for whatever works best for our family. I am so glad that we have her and dont ever want to change. She is just amazing. We love this practice
