Capital Area Pediatrics - Herndon

Im very happy with the level of care given to my infant by all the doctors Ive seen. Scheduling is easy I was even able to schedule an emergency sick visit online and get an appointment the same day. I also appreciate that the facility is open seven days a week. Ive never had to wait long after arriving to see the doctor. The nurses and front desk staff are always very pleasant. So far no complaints with this facility.

Weve been visiting this practice since 2015 and in general our experiences were good with the providers until recently during a well visit for our kids we were highly pressurized for getting Covid vaccines and upon cross questioning on the vaccine safety the provider Dr A. used words like the kids might end up in crematory if not vaccinated etc. I felt like in the middle of a very pushy vaccine sale and for sure the poor choice of words in front of kids was not required.The management should coach the providers on not using this fear inducing methodology and use of such inappropriate words with their patients and kids.If someone wants a covid vaccine or not its their decision.....stop pushing parents and threatening them.

Always good and friendly service and definitely much faster than most other doctor offices. Fast check in process and we never wait too long to be seen or wait long at all in the room. Dr. Bill was great So glad I found a new pediatrician my son and I both loved after his first one left the practice. I prefer having the same Pediatrician that I can communicate with about any questions for my son and that he can see for check ups. Also very important to me that my son felt comfortable with him and I could tell he did. Glad someome at the practice recommended Dr. Bill to me. The new location has by far made a huge difference in the overall experience. The previous location was not the best. So glad they moved

We had great experience with the doctors they know what they are doing. Dr Amin and Dr Will was amazing and we love them.However Management is terrible. I had to argue with the office manager about our disappointment. Manager lady doesnt care about the patients here.Instead of guiding us or finding a solution she told me that nothing is her problem. We set the appointment 2 months ago and this place was seeing my son since May. They knew our insurance and we had no problem with it before. She told us during check in that they dont accept our insurance. I kindly asked her many times that why you didnt let us know during this 2 months period. They had all our information on the system. This is unacceptable she even told me that go find another place. She asked me to leave her room I was there with my family for our babys 6 month vaccines and all. Well be out of contry couple days later. I dont have time to go find another place.She is the manager and she doesnt have any idea about Hippocratic Oath. After reading this maybe she can learn what is that about. When I asked her she was giving me an empty look I told her that doctors are working here right She told me that this place is not a hospital. . .She has no morals. This kind of a person with this attitude should not be a pediatrics clinic manager also in healthcare industry.I can completely understand that my insurance might changed. However a family should not be treated in this way. We were there for a simple thing. We were your patient for 6 months and you should guide your patients This is a simple customer service that you can find any place that has ethic and moral values We will not be here again. Ill go find a place that put their patients first then their individual goalsIm so sorry for the doctors here. Because this kind of attitude that management have will effect their reputation too.

I must admit that Im somewhat disappointed with my recent experiences at Capital Area Pediatric. While I appreciate the excellent care provided by Dr. Akhlaghi and Dr. Bill my overall experience has been challenging. There seems to be a recurring issue with their phone system as its quite difficult to get through to them and I often face extended wait times for callbacks.Whats particularly concerning is the delay in receiving a comprehensive health report for daycare which Ive been waiting for over three weeks. I understand that delays can happen but this has been a frustrating.Regrettably due to these ongoing challenges Ive made the decision to explore other pediatric care options and probably will not be returning to Capital Area Pediatric.

Dr. Amin was my sons Dr. I dont know how long hot unlucky with this. He saw my till he is 7-8months. Many things he didnt give me the right information or saw it so carelessly. I dont want to mention the stuff for privacy reasons. However its something we could do when my son was 6-7 months old. He is 13 months now and the option might be surgery. He told me to stretch his private are skin cause he say it look like its attached might cause him problem later on. He say this on his last day. He never say anything till then. Why you telling me this now when he is 8 months. Ik he is not in this office anymore. However I needed to say something.

HelloThey wouldnt send bill to insurance and keep sending bills to me to pay without follow-up with insurance Very rude staff wouldnt listen.Unprofessional I think owner only cares about money she should also consider giving the business a human touchDisappointing wouldnt recommend at all.ThanksEdit after owners response I wouldnt reach here for services not covered its usual visit your staff wouldnt just listen and wouldnt reach out to insurance we didnt have a single day of lapse in insurance they wouldnt co-ordinate with patient if any hiccups happen from insurance company and resolve to recover from patient without any follow-up with insurance.Edit after debt collectors reachesI got a reach-out from debt collector when Capital Area Pediatrics which is a pure business and no human touch place sends me a bill of amount and another 25.09 as Interest accrued and I told the collector clearly that this is disputed since capital area didnt work with my insurance directly sent the bill to me I am going to fight this one you cant just rob money off of your clients. Such a bad practice you guys have no consideration for customers and only extort money.

I would have give a 0 star had there been a choice. They dont give any care to the patient and tell on your face to go away if you dont like.

As always the entire staff at CAP is amazing. The friendliness the professionalism the thoroughness is what keeps us commuting even though we moved to Ashburn Im sure they are great too Dr. Eng Tow has been our pediatrician since both of my kiddos were born. She remembers EVERYTHING has excellent bedside manners. She takes her time I never feel rushed my kiddos do not make doctor trips easy. Its not often that you feel relaxed taking your toddlers to appointments but Dr. Eng Tow and every nurse we have met really do make it easier. The front desk staff are always friendly and helpful with any scheduling questions form questions I have. Over the last year we have had to see many specialists and Dr. Eng Tows referrals have been superb which is a huge relief navigating developmental needs. Im so thankful for this practice location

Two months ago I put in a request to see they doctor here because they were on a reference list from my kids regular pediatrician for autism testingdevelopmental pediatrics. I did all the paperwork through the automated service even FILLED OUT what I wanted my son to be seen for. You would think someone would reach out in advance to tell me they dont offer developmental pediatric services anymore. NOPE. Drove 1 and a half hours for the doctor to tell me they dont do that anymore. The nurse doing my sons vitals was also pretty rude with my son. Would not recommend.

I have no problem with the doctors at CAP but my last bill for my son was 695 for a half hour appointment and it was a basic yearly exam. They did not...

Doctors and nurses are solid...we had Dr. bill and hes great. The management and specifically the on-call service is actually the worst. This review isnt...
