Back Bay Speech & Occupational Therapy

Money hungry threatened us with court. The speech therapist canceled 2x within 2 weeks. Both times I was called last minute. The day of the eval was January 2 2024 - we pulled in and parked and got the call 5 minutes before the session the speech therapist wouldnt be in. Felt like the speech therapist was young and inexperienced the second time I brought him in Had high hopes due to almost 5 star ratings. We now are at a private pay office and its a different experience.

As a professional I refer to this practice often with complete and utter confidence that the patients will be in the best of hands. The extensive trainings that the team regularly participates in are unprecedented in our field and a tremendous benefit to anyone who works with them.

We loved working with Megan at Back Bay Speech. She came to our house to see our 4-year-old daughter one to two times a week for several months. Our daughter made remarkable progress during that time. Megan was great at engaging our daughter and holding her interest for the entire session. Megan was always prompt and a true professional. Tracy was also very helpful with scheduling and billing issues. Overall it was an excellent experience and we already recommended the practice to friends and will continue to do so. We only stopped seeing her because our insurance changed and they were no longer in-network so we had to switch to another provider.

I had a wonderful experience working with Back Bay Speech Therapy. The whole team was extremely helpful responsive and flexible. My son worked with Ariana for 9 months and we could not have been happier. She was extremely talented patient and loving with my toddler and he always looked forward to his Friday meetings with her. She also helped empower us as parents to use specific speech tools to help teach him everyday. We say significant improvement in his speech and could not be more grateful.

We have been working with Back Bay Speech Therapy since 2018. Micayla worked with two or our sons doing private speech therapy in our home. She has helped us with my sons articulation issues and also social pragmatics. We are very fortunate to work with her. They boys love her and she has improved their skills tremendously.

They were great Our speech therapist was Ariana and she was wonderful with my daughter. When she started my daughter was 2.5 and barely had any words and by the time she was done 8 months later she talked non stop easily understandable in full sentences. Ariana was kind and compassionate and was supportive with some other developmental concerns beyond just the speech. The fact that she came to our house made a huge difference in terms of fitting speech therapy into our lifeschedule.

We had a wonderful experience with Ariana for speech therapy - unfortunately she has moved out of the area. We didnt make much if any progress with feeding therapy. Our daughter now eats many fewer foods than she did when we started therapy about a year ago. Perhaps theres an underlying medical issue that we havent identified or maybe it just wasnt the right fit.

Ariana went to our sons preschool and was great. We saw a lot of improvement in the time they worked together.

We had a wonderful experience at Buttonloop with Speech and OT. I stumbled upon Buttonloop in a google search when trying to find my son a place that offered OT and Speech. Although Buttonloop didnt accept my type of insurance they were reasonable enough for us to afford to pay for our son to go to therapy 1-2 times per week.We absolutely loved all the therapists we worked with. He ended his speech with seeing Charlotte for the past several months and we cant say enough wonderful things about her. We could feel the love that Charlotte had for our son and it made it so easy to send him for a session every week even if he cried a little Our journey with Buttonloop lasted a bit over a year and it was worth every second. Our son has made HUGE strides and is honestly a whole different kid from when we started A ton of that progress is because of all the wonderful things he learned at Buttonloop.All the staff has been great and were very helpful and knowledgeable whenever we had questions We were sad to leave but it is time to start our next chapter--school and we are looking forward to see what more he can accomplish

I cannot recommend backbay speech therapy and Lisa enough The therapists are so knowledgeable and just wonderful people to work with. They really care and are great at keeping kids attention and focus. I noticed a huge difference in my sons speech from working with Lisa. His speech and language just exploded after working with her. My son also looked forward to the time we spent virtually working with Lisa. We were sad When my son was discharged from services not only because my sons speech was progressing so much but because Lisa was just such a lovely person to spend the hour with. Highly recommend
